What Vace AI Does

How the Model Works
Vace AI runs in two deliberate stages so you keep control of the expensive step:
- Generation phase - the model reads your text prompt and renders a high-fidelity static video frame. Iterating here is cheap, so you can rewrite the prompt until the composition is right without waiting on video processing.
- Animation phase - once you are happy with the frame, it is carried into a short moving clip. Five preservation controls (content, structure, subject, posture and motion) govern how the still is taken into video so nothing drifts between frames.
What Vace AI Can and Cannot Do
Vace AI is strong at cinematic single shots, targeted object replacement, frame expansion and reference-driven restyling. We would rather be honest about the rest: the animation step produces a preview-length sample of the video style, and it adds organic motion beautifully, but long narrative sequences and complex multi-character choreography are outside its current scope.
